1. About the App Wild Forage Finder is a plant and mushroom identification tool designed to assist users in exploring wild edible foods. The App is available worldwide.

You use this App entirely at your own risk.
The App does not guarantee the accuracy of any plant or mushroom identification. Never consume any wild plant or mushroom based solely on this App’s output. Always cross-check any identification with a certified foraging expert or mycologist before consuming wild food. Some plants and mushrooms are deadly and may closely resemble edible species. Wild Forage Finder, its developers, and its affiliates accept absolutely no responsibility or liability for any illness, injury, death, or harm of any kind resulting from use of or reliance on this App.
By downloading and using this App you confirm that you understand and accept these risks fully and that you are foraging at your own risk at all times.
3. Permitted Use You may use the App for personal, non-commercial foraging and educational purposes. You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose, reverse-engineer or modify the App, reproduce or redistribute App content without written permission, or use the App in any way that could harm yourself or others.
4. Intellectual Property All content within the App including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software is the property of Wild Forage Finder or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any App content without express written permission.
5. User Generated Content When you save foraging spots, notes, or other content within the App, that content is stored locally on your device only. You retain full ownership of any content you create.
6. Disclaimers The App is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We make no warranties of any kind regarding the accuracy of plant or mushroom identifications, fitness for any particular purpose, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that any identification provided by the App is correct, safe, or suitable for your circumstances. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on the App’s output.
7. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Wild Forage Finder and its developers shall not be liable for any personal injury or death arising from consumption of foraged foods, any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any loss of data or profits. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which a claim is brought. You use this App at your own risk, always.
8. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wild Forage Finder, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses including legal fees arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
9. Third-Party Services The App integrates third-party services including Apple Maps and advertising networks. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
10. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
